This is the story of Rhett and Lainey. This is also the final book in the Spade Hotel Series. If you haven’t read the other books in this series you are really missing out on some seriously good books. Lainey and Rhett were high school sweethearts. I loved that we got to see them as they dated, fell in love, and a break up that will rip your heart out. Lainey left to travel the world and deal with her heartbreak all by herself. She cut Rhett completely out of her life too. Rhett isn’t dealing well either and we have the mystery of why the grumpiest man ever disappears for a week a year and goes totally off the grid. Hold on to your heart for the why. I don’t very often in books but I really lost it. It has been fifteen years and these two are about to have a reunion in the most unexpected place. Now I have to stop talking about this story or I’ll give something away. I could go on and on about it. I loved every single second of this book. Even the tears I shed.
