Blog Tour: Bear Hunt by N.O. One

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

If you have read the The Psycho Series then you have met Bear in that book. He and Psycho are best friends. You probably really loved Bear because he is a really great guy and you can’t help by love the guy. Now we are getting his story and I for one was so excited to have this book in my hands. This is the story of Bear and Athena. When we meet Athena she is on the run from a absolutely horrible life where she had not choice since she was born into it. My heart really broke for her and she is trying her best to escape with what little money she could get her hands on. She has stolen truck, and a address in her had that her mother made her memorize from the time she was a little girl. As fate would have it she brakes down not far from where she is suppose to end up and is one the side of the road when the biggest guy she has ever seen in her life stops to help her. Bear is intrigued with Athena from the very beginning. From the moment he sees her and hears the address she is trying so hard to get to he knows that this girl is running from something his now deceased mother would have been able to help her with. I have to not talk about this story to much or I will give something away. This book is not as dark as the Psycho trilogy if you have read it. However, we do get to see a lot of Mac and Psycho along with all the other guys we came to love in that series. I loved Bear. How could you not? The guy is a bad butt, and at the same time a big old teddy bear who has the ability in his nature to make everyone feel safe and heard. I loved how he loved his brother’s and his own family exactly the same. I so wish that he hadn’t lost his mother because I would have loved to have met her. She had to be one amazing woman. Athena as I said comes from a very rough place. But this girl is a survivor. She is strong and smart. Though she isn’t so knowledgeable about modern terms at time but I loved that she loved to learn. She also had to learn to let people in and she opened up to those she cared about and it was a beautiful thing to see. Little did she know that when her mom had her memorize that address that she was sending her to a place that would help her find a family that she could call her very own. This is a book that you do not want to miss. I am loving this series so much and I really hope that it continues.
