This is the story of Dominik and Grace. Grace loves her sister. She would do anything to keep her safe and sound and wants nothing more than for her to marry the love of her life. However, she makes the ultimate sacrifice when she agrees to an arranged marriage to keep it away from her sister. During this time this poor woman lived though some serious nightmares and now she is trying to find herself. But a huge blow is coming her way thanks to her father and his going back on his word that he wouldn’t marry off her sister. Now that same father wants her sister to marry Dominik. Dominik is an assassin and arms dealer. The man is a walking red flag and danger with a capital D. If he wasn’t grumpy you would swear something was wrong with him. He is also a walking, talking mystery. However, he has had to fight his entire life for everything he has. He was raised in an orphanage and the smallest things that you and I take for granted he didn’t have unless he fought for them. I really loved this man. The more that you get to know him the more you fall for him. He and Grace are perfection together. She is feisty and very strong willed and isn’t going to let anyone run over her. She has been though it and I loved watching her find herself again with Dominik. He is fierce and loyal and will melt your heart at times. He is very protective and possessive at the same time. This is a great book to kick off this new series. I loved every single second of it.
