I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Elira and Maximo. Elira is a sweet innocent girl who has been locked away from the world for so long. On her birthday though she is afforded some freedom and ends up on the doorstop of the devil himself. Maximo. He is involved in a totally different world than hers and she is about to become his obsession and introduced to his world. There are lots of twists and turns in this book and it will keep you one your toes. The Nightshade is a group of four men and we are getting a book about each of them with Maximo’s being the first. He has worked hard to get to where he is but when he meets the daughter of his enemy he knows that he has to have her no matter who her father is. Elira has not been around a lot of people so when Maximo is interested in her she is thrilled and knows that she wants to experience life with his badly. However, he is not above threats and whisking her off with the treat of harming her family is she doesn’t do what he say. ANd that is all I can say.Now I can’t wait to see who’s story we get next.
