Y’all don’t even know how excited I was for this book! I waited FOREVER it felt like especially after watching the trailer I even preordered it and I usually don’t do that. Then I waited until midnight to make sure it was on my kindle and did a happy dance. But as the life of a blogger goes I just now got a break from tour book and beta reading so I took it to read Phenomenal X FINALLY.
I won’t lie as I opened it to start reading I was a little scared. I was scared that after I was so excited about it for so long and I got my hopes up so high that it would let me down. There’s another book I won’t mention that’s not by this author that everyone seems to rave about and I thought it was just okay. I was really hoping that this was not the case here.
I LOVED IT!!! Could not get enough.
The characters had an amazing connection. He was a bad ass he was so broken, but he was so sweet to Anna. She was very innocent and insecure. She eventually broke out and found herself. They were amazing for each other she helped him heal the broken bits and he helped her become more independent and confidant.
The storyline was great it was romantic, exciting, emotional, and sexy. I liked getting a chance to look back at the past and see why he was so broken. As I was reading I posted on the blog that my heart was broken for little X. It really was. I cried for him and what he went through. But I will let you read it and see exactly what that is.
Then just when things were looking up the book had to end and I was very upset about the ending. I felt so terrible for everyone involved and wanted desperately for it all to be fixed and for everything to turn out okay but I did not get that YET. I have to wait for book two for her to fix this and to see if their love and connection can keep them together.
