Carla’s Review:
5stars for Five Minute Man by Abbie Zanders!! This was a really fun book to
read. The book begins with Holly and her best friend, Liz, attending their
mandatory one night a week girl’s night. Holly (who writes erotica) is
reading a romance novel, and she laughs out loud at one of the book’s
characters who is proudly letting her friends know that she has found a man
who can make her orgasm for five full minutes! While laughing, they each
decide to call that character the five minute man. Their young and
handsome waiter overhears the ladies, and he decides that he wants to
introduce his uncle, Adam, to Liz.
However, Adam has already set his sights on Holly. After spending quite a
bit of time together, they each realize that they are falling in love with
one another. Everything is great until Eve, Adam’s ex, decides that if she
can’t have Adam no one else will. She goes to great lengths to ruin what
Holly and Adam. I won’t spoil it for you and tell you all that she does,
but I will tell you someone ends up physically hurt. Adam knows that Eve
is the one who has broken the law more than once to come between him and
Holly, and he will not stop until she pays for her crimes. The big
question is- Can Holly hang onto her 5 minute man, or has she lost him for
good?
This is a quick read filled with equal parts romance and suspense. This is
the first book that I have read by this author, and I can promise it wont
be the last! Congrats Abbie Zanders on a job well done!
