Avery Moore writes about romance, but she sure as hell doesn’t live it. Blake Patterson has no trouble getting women, in fact as the owner of a popular club, women are practically throwing themselves at him.

They couldn’t be further from each other’s type, but when a solid friendship is formed, little by little the lines become blurred.

In this struggle between friendship and love, the desire between them becomes too much to resist.

What happens when your friend suddenly becomes So Much More?

I discovered my love for books at an early age, spending many hours lost in someone else’s story.

It wasn’t until well into adult hood that I discovered, late at night while the house was quiet, that I had just as many stories inside me just waiting to be let out. Writing has been a way for me to step away from reality and live a bit through my fun and sometimes damaged characters. You will almost always find a Happy Ever After at the end of my stories. I can’t help it, it’s an addiction.

I’m a Southwestern girl living a Mid-Atlantic life with my husband of seventeen years and two incredible daughters who inspire me daily. I am proud to be an advocate for my child with autism, and feel incredibly blessed to be able to see the world through her eyes. She teaches me more than I could ever teach her.

I enjoy reading, writing and spending time with my family, but cherish those quiet nights after everyone is asleep when I can curl up on the couch with my fifteen year old dog (Shh, don’t tell…He’s not supposed to be on the couch.)
Keep an eye out for more from me!

Carla’s Review:

4 stars for So Much More by Taryn Plendl.  This is the first book in The Chrome Series, and it focuses on the relationship between Blake and Avery.  It is a quick and fun read!

This is a story about two people who start out as friends and slowly fall in love with one another.  I just loved Avery!  She was so full of spunk and not afraid to speak her mind.  She was very sarcastic but in a funny way.  When their friendship begins, Blake takes on the role of a protective, older brother.  As the relationship develops, they each begin to develop deeper feelings for one another, but they are both reluctant to admit it.

This is a great book that everyone should read!  It was so different from other romance books because the couple develops a strong foundation as friends instead of immediately jumping in bed together.  The story line contains a small amount of angst, but it is resolved quickly.  If you are looking for a quick, romantic read filled with humor, look no more!

*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from Stephanie’s Book Reports in exchange for an honest review.
