♦About the Author♦
About me? Huh well what can I say. I’m a twenty-nine-year-old stay at home mother of two beautiful girls and I have the opportunity to share my stories with you… My children are amazing. There isn’t a day that goes by that they don’t challenge my husband and I or make us laugh and feel loved. Growing up the way I did, I never wanted kids, but they’re here and I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world for. God has truly blessed my family and me. My husband Bill is the levelheaded one; he’s always so calm and logical, whereas I’m the loud-mouthed spaz that doesn’t know when to shut up. He was my saving grace in a time when I really needed one. I honestly believe he is my gift from God. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted: smart, kind, loving, PATIENT, (lord knows he needs it living with me) and so very supportive! I’m a firm believer in going through life’s tragedies and blessings so that you can become the person you were meant to be. Writing has always been a hidden passion of mine and I am so thankful that I finally have the opportunity to share my stories with you.

Review More Than Friends
5 stars for More Than Friends by Tabetha Thompson! I will issue a warning with this review-this books deals with domestic abuse, and some of the scenes are quite graphic. With that being said, I feel like this author did an excellent job at shining the light on such a serious issue.
Poor Chloe has been through hell in her short life, but through it all, she has remained strong and escaped the cycle of abuse that she has been trapped in for years. While most people in her situation would feel sorry for themselves, Chloe decides not to let her past define her.
Skye has been in love with Chloe since the moment he laid eyes on her his junior year in high school. However, Chloe did not feel the same way. She thought he was creepy because he always seemed to be watching her. After his father died in a tragic accident, Skye and his mom moved away, but he never forgot about Chloe. When he moves back to Georgia, he finds himself working at the same bar as Chloe. When she first sets eyes on him, she can’t help but notice how handsome and downright sexy he is. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and they are drawn together like magnets. They begin a relationship and one might think this is where they finally get their happily ever after, but Chloe’s abusive ex has other plans.
I really enjoyed this story! The plot contained many twists and turns that kept me glued to my Kindle with apprehension. The secondary characters in this book were great, and I really hope to read more about them in future books. Kudos to Tabetha Thompson for creating a story that has the power to encourage others who find themselves in abusive relationships to seek help!
