Leo Petrova is between a rock and the hard place in his pants. Shot of Sin, the night club he owns with his two best friends, is short one bartender downstairs. The only available replacement is the upstairs bar manager—the one woman Leo knows he can’t take downstairs, can’t have, can’t touch. The one time he gave in to temptation convinced Leo that Shay’s no match for his sexual demands.
Only a select few know Shot of Sin’s guilty secret, that beneath the packed dance floor lies a very private sex club—the Vault. The place Leo can let his sexual proclivities run wild.
Shay Porter is curious as to why her boss, the king of mixed messages, seems almost desperate to keep her from discovering what’s on the other side of the guarded door at the back of the club.
Sliding out of her comfort zone and into Leo’s arms risks everything. Their friendship, the Vault, and most of all, their hearts.
Warning: This sex club does not carry the government’s stamp of approval. Contains devilish debauchery, delightful deviance, and dancing on the edge of the darkest of sexual desires.

5 stars
The more I tried to construct the review for A Shot of Sin in my head, the
more I desired the next book. It soon became a feeling of being “homesick”
because I wanted back with Shay, Leo, T.J and Brute. They created a
dysfunctional yet beautiful family that I missed the more I thought of
them. I loved how the author drew me in with the first chapter with the
attitudes of the characters. They were each individually developed, each
as different as day is to night, truly giving an example of the term
“melting pot” in the club. This one didn’t end in a dramatic cliff hanger
but certainly left you wanting to spend more time in uncovering the story
of these four beautiful characters.
Leo, Brute and T.J. all struggled with finding a woman who would not only
accept them for their desires but also join them in their kink. Being
successful in the restaurant and bar they owned they kept the illegal sex
club down in the basement as secret at possible. It wasn’t a BDSM club,
this was a closely guarded club for women and men who were looking for a
place to safely find a night with someone in the midst of their crazy
lives. With no time for commitment and relationships, people were closely
vetted and protected so they could be allowed a night a week to go and let
loose, filling the desires that they craved.
Brute had been so hurt he built a wall around him that gave off the image
to people he didn’t care, he had no heart and he would rather tear someone
down than to hold someone tenderly. T.J was struggling with his marriage.
With divorce being rumored in his future, he was also the peacemaker in the
threesome of business. He knew what true love was, but he also knew the
heart break when that true love didn’t fully accept you and who you are.
Leo had given up on finding a woman that would not only accept him for his
kink, but would keep his valued secrets quite. He knew that to find a
woman he risked the business he and his two best friends had worked so hard
to build. Feeling trapped in the battle between his loyalty to his
friends, his need to be loved and his fear of being hurt, he goes through
life flirting with Shay and believing nothing more can happen.
Shay was the one woman who saw all three men for who they really were. She
knew Brute had a heart and cared deeply for a few select people. She kept
his secret close in order to show him she deserved his friendship and
respect in the work place. Shay also could see the pain T.J. tried to
hide. While he didn’t always want to talk about it she gave him the space
he needed while showing him he had a friend who cared. Leo was a very
murky issue with Shay. She was strongly attracted to him, she found him
hot, sexy and very desirable, but he was her boss and the ethics she held
dear was too important for her to ignore. If they worked out, they would
have to hide their relationship at work, if they didn’t last forever she
would have to find another job. She loved what she did as a bartender, she
was the best they had so she decided to flirt with him, play hard to get
and see where that would take them. With her sassy attitude and remarks
when she felt herself weakening to his charms she drove him crazy and to
the point of madness many times.
Decisions had to be made after she accepted the part time job of bartending
down in the basement. With the truth that she was going to be introduced to
the illegal sex club becoming a fact, will Leo be able to explain his need
for this club. Will Shay be able to take in this new information and
embrace her own longing to experience it with him? Shay is going to have
to stop over thinking things and trust her heart, but is Leo ready to take
on the responsibility of that job, to protect, teach and convince her that
he is her safe place to fall as she learns to let go of the expectations
and restrictions society places on those who need the kink.
Renee’s Review:
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.
I loved this story. I am writing this review and its totally different from what I thought my review was going to be about halfway through the book. This book is the start of The Vault Series I thought easy breezy I’ll just sail through it but somewhere along the way it made me start thinking about relationships and what would you be willing to do for the person you fell in love with. Could you open up your mind and body to an experience so far out of your comfort zone because you dont want the person your in love with to change a thing about themselves?? In turn would that person give up something about themselves because they loved you even if the knew it was nearly impossible to do?? Not so easy breezy erotica now is it? I’m still thinking about it three hours later. That to me is when you have read a book that just blew you right out if the water and Eden Summers has done just that.
Three friends Leo, TJ, and Brute own a bar with an illegal sex club downstairs. They share in their experiences and all love the lifestyle and the club they created. No judgement No meeting strangers at a bar and going or taking them home That’s dangerous The guys created a club that’s welcoming, every one knows what their there for and the guys always make sure there patrons are safe and comfortable and having a good time. Shay is their main lead bartender upstairs in the club and restaurant and boy does she have it bad for Leo and Leo for her. But…..Leo has a secret but he’s in love with Shay Can she except it? Can she deal with it? How far do you go for love? I hate spoilers and so this is where you get no more out of me!!
Eden has written some amazing characters in the men I really really liked each one of them and I can not wait for Brute and TJ stories. Especially Brute ….I’ve gotta know more about Brute TJ is going to break my heart I’m afraid but he’s great too and the three of them have a friendship that you can tell you’d just love to be a part of They look out for each other and have each other’s backs. Shay….wow Shay is quiet the woman and at times I wanted to shake her and say shut up or good grief woman lose the ball busting attitude I’m really surprised I like her as much as I do I had my doubts for a while I just didn’t like the way if she got her feelings hurt she lashed out big time With that said though she has her redeeming qualities too and I found myself liking her better than I did in the beginning. Talk about a stubborn woman
You need to read this book If your a fan of erotica and romance and all that good stuff Eden Summers has written a book that makes you feel and think and it sticks with you long after you’ve finished the book There’s no cliffhanger either I didn’t think I thought it was set up nicely to continue in the next book The book I can not wait to get my hands on Thank you Eden for writing this gem of a story I’m go glad I got to read it.
