This is the third book in the My Paper Heart series, and it is not a standalone.
This book picks up right where the second book, On Paper Wings, left off. The relationship between Libby and Blaine is progressing well. Like every couple, they experience their ups and downs, but they remain committed to one another. Libby’s life seems to finally be on the right track right up until she receives some unexpected news. Will Blaine’s past commitment issues resurface, or will he remain dedicated to Libby?
I loved this book as well as this entire series so much! Libby and Blaine are the perfect couple, and I found myself rooting for their love to last forever. If you are looking for a series filled with passion and love, you should give this one a try! I promise you will not be disappointed!! Great job, Magan Vernon!!

Libby Gentry has been living it up throughout her first year of college. Unfortunately, she hasn’t spent a lot of time studying which causes her to flunk. Her parent’s are fed up with her, so they send her to her great aunt’s house in Louisiana for the summer. The plan is for Libby to stay at her aunt’s house and work in her aunt’s shop.
Elsbury Louisiana is a hick town smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Libby thinks that there will not be anything fun to do in this town That all changes when she meets Blaine Crabtree-a true southern charmer. In the beginning, Blaine does nothing but piss Libby off, but after she spends some more time with him she realizes that he really is a nice guy. He is so unlike any of the other boys that she has dated, and she ends up falling hard for him. However, Blaine has been hurt deeply in the past, so he really doesn’t believe Libby when she tells him that she is in love with him. As a result, Blaine tucks his tail between his legs and runs like a coward. When new opportunities are presented to Libby in Chicago, she must decide to stay in Chicago, or return to Louisiana and see what comes of things between she and Blaine.
This book was a very sweet and predictable read. If you are looking for a quick, enjoyable book, you should give this one a try.
*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from the author in exchange for an honest review. Before reading this book, you need to read the first book in the series which is entitled My Paper Wings.
I loved this book just as much as the first one! After spending the summer in Louisiana and falling in love with a southern boy, Libby decides to leave Chicago for good and make Louisiana her home. At first, Libby thinks things are going to be perfect, but she soon learns that life doesn’t always follow the script we have created for ourselves. Don’t get me wrong-she and Blaine are deeply in love, but things get bumpy when Blaine’s old flings start showing up all over the place. Even though she considers herself to be a strong woman, old insecurities resurface, and Libby loses control.
Blaine and Libby really have gone through a lot, but the hard times have brought them closer together. In order for their love to survive, they each have been forced to dig deep and place their trust in one another. I loved how both Libby and Blaine have grown and matured from the first book. Magan Vernon is an excellent author! Obviously, this is a series that I would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for posting! So glad y’all liked it!
