Book Description:

“Printesa mea…”
“…Master.”
Ella is a twenty two year old submissive who has been sharing an online relationship with a Dominant for a year. She flies out to Bucharest in Romania, the home of her Master, to spend a week in his company as a full time submissive. The events that unfold surprise both parties, neither one suspected the wicked turns of events that occur over the seven days that they have with each other. The foundation of any relationship, especially a BDSM relationship, is trust and communication, yet what happens when the relationship lacks both? Can they possibly continue any kind of relationship when there is no trust? Or can the trust be built so that their relationship is better and stronger?

Meeting for the first time is nerve-wracking but the nerves are quick to vanish. With each passing day the relationship this couple shares grows stronger and deeper. The Dominant and submissive aspect of this couple’s lives is the centre of their relationship, however, as the week progresses and their scenes become more intense in nature, they have to develop in order to survive as one. We meet Master’s friends and Ella is encouraged to openly communicate with them which she struggles to do but little does she know that Master harbours a great secret with these friends, one that could ruin Ella’s relationship with them all forever. Can this duo survive seven days of testing scenes and confessing secrets? Or should this relationship have remained on the World Wide Web?

Excerpt:

“I’m going to remove your clothes now.” His voice startles me and I jump making him chuckle deeply. I clench everything inside as I try to calm my raging hormones which are screaming at him to hurry it up already! It doesn’t matter how scared I am, my arousal isn’t dampened. Communicating with this man makes me horny as hell, it always has done. I used to hate talking to him without playing because it would leave me frustrated even if we hadn’t talked about anything sexual. My mind, I believe, automatically links his voice and face with arousal now.

I feel his fingertips glide along my collarbone, he’s standing behind me and I want to lean into him but I resist. There would be nothing worse than being punished in my first live scene with him, the man of my dreams and fantasies, the man of my online reality.

My cardigan is taken from my shoulders and the cotton slides down, gliding along my arms. I feel a gust of air as the cardigan is thrown past me to somewhere else in the room. Warm, soft lips kiss a line from my shoulder to my ear lobe, each one making my head spin as the desire hits me like a decent puff of cannabis. I want to moan in appreciation of his actions but I don’t think he’d like that so I resist again. I keep it concealed but in my mind I’m meowing like a cat enjoying the caress of its owner.

Jacque’s Review:

Review: A week with my Romanian series books 1-4

I was originally asked by a friend if I would review a series for an author Steffie Dawn. When I asked what the premises was I thought to myself this seemed a bit far-fetched but I’d give it a shot. To my surprise, I actually found myself pleasantly hooked. Each story was well written and I was easily sucked in. This is most definitely a series and while each title can read be as a stand-all, the overall impact of the story is lost if they are not read as a series. Each book is one day spent with her Master and told from Ella’s first person perspective. Here are my reviews.

Review: Meeting My Master (A week with my Romanian #1)

Day one: Ella is meeting her Master face to face for the first time. Interacting with someone for a year and never meeting face to face can be nerve racking. The author has done a well job of conveying Ella’s nervousness and elation very well to the reader. I know how I would be feeling and this is exactly it. Although I found his reaction a bit extreme from the restaurant, I found Master to be, of all things a kind gentleman. There is a mystery behind his story I find intriguing and hope to discover. Good start to the series. The cover is simply lovely. Looking forward to the next title.

Review: Pleasing My Master (A week with my Romanian #2)

Day Two: The day after Master has collared Ella. They sexual encounters are more erotic, more explosive. Up until now we have only had two characters. Master has taken Ella out to lunch, a little fun (Oh Master…you are naughty!) and to meet a friend. One gets a sense this is Ella’s first encounter with another sub and a special one at that since she knows Master. As I get further into the story, I find myself dying to find out more details about Master. Maybe, hopefully the next book?

Review: Needing My Master (A week with my Romanian #3)

Day Three: Master puts Ella through the ropes as a beginner. It’s interesting to see the progression between the two build. I find I constantly have to remind myself they know each other yet are still strangers. The trust is building but still not there and yet…Finally! We learn more about Master. I knew he had a secret. There’s still something missing to the story. Master feels very much a Dom, and his actions are more wickedly delicious as the series progress, but Ella still not sure about Ella. Unlike the previous titles, author Steffie Dawn throws a scary element into this book that frankly would have had me packing my bags and high tailing it home. I am COMPLETELY riveted. I can read it fast enough to see how it ends. And oh no…a cliff hanger!

Review: Obeying My Master (A week with my Romanian #4)

Day four: “How the @#$% did I end up here?”

That’s the first sentence of this book which pretty much sums it up. The previous books all feel like a work up to that one sentence and yet I cannot turn away. After what happened the previous day, Master is now determined to teach Ella the true meaning of trust. This is the one that had me biting my lip. Just as Ella had her doubts so did I. I don’t particularly care for TPE and humiliation but like a train wreck and cannot turn away. Boy, am I glad I didn’t! The BDSM aspect is ratchet up higher and BINGO! The element that felt was missing thorough this series is now there. Her revelations are incredible. Ella is growing up in more ways than one and I like it!

I need to know, I have to know how this series ends! I need the next book NOW!

For book 5

YOWZA! What a rush! I hadn’t read this series in a while and when I was give the opportunity to finish up the series I jumped at it.

In Surprising My Master the week is half way gone. At last we left off, Ella’s Master had taken her on a while ride with some old school techniques. I didn’t think it could get any more creative than that. Boy was I wrong. In and out of the apartment Ella’s sexual journey continues to keep me entertained. Instead of being repulsed or uncomfortable with their antics I found myself wanting their day never to end. And, even though there is a juicy tidbit to lure me in to read the next book, I find my curiosity peaked versus feening for release for the next book. Which, in my opinion, can be a more powerful lure than a true cliffhanger.

Can’t wait to see what is in store for the next day!

Book 6, Trusting My Master. Somehow I think the titles from book five and six should be swapped because I was definitely surprised. Ella’s appointment was definitely NOT what I expected. I won’t spoil anything but having experienced several times what she had sex was the furthest thing from my mind. Ella is concerned that she has had a very physical connection but has been lacking on the emotional level. Surprising revelations are brought forth that had me gasping along with Ella which definitely goes a long way to explain all the scenes Master had plan. I think what makes this book different than all the other ones is there is no lingering cliffhanger. It didn’t need one. Only one day left with Master and I for one will be sad to see this series end.

On to their last day. Sigh…

The final book…the final day. I’m said to see this series come to an end but not so much as Ella and Master are. This book started out as the most emotionally shocking to me but half way through had me in tears. The sweetness, the revelations, the parting. Truly I don’t think Ms. Dawn could have picked a better title. So much is reveal. Hidden secrets, their souls and a very special chapter. See up until now, this story has been told solely from Ella’s first person perspective. Finally, we hear from Master. It’s lovely and bittersweet. I couldn’t ask for a better ending.

Stars – 5, Flames – 3

As I had previously stated I was originally asked by a friend if I would review a series for an author Steffie Dawn. When I asked what the premises was I thought to myself this seemed a bit far-fetched but I’d give it a shot. To my surprise, I actually found myself pleasantly surprised. Each story was well written and I was easily sucked in. To watch the author’s writing skills evolve was a pleasure and I was glad I got to experience Ella and Master’s world. The covers are all lovely. I almost feel as they were personally created by the author…pictures of herself as Ella, and that alone made them feel different than any others I had seen before.  Now to the story.

The building of the story, of Ella and Master’s face to face relationship was an incredible experience for me. The risk that Ella takes, traveling to another country, to meet and submit to a man who she had never really met before was astounding to me. I mean, come on who would be crazy to do that?! However, I found myself relaxing and enjoying the story as it progressed through. The scenes Master has planned and the experiences Ella experiences took my breath away. Not all were pleasant to picture but all worked out very well. There was one moment, one scene which goes awry that had me gasping in shock and angry for Ella which as scary as it was, it provided a moment of realism that showed the author wasn’t shooting for perfection. The finally ending was somewhat what I expected HOWEVER, it didn’t play out the way my brain planned so anyone who reads this series and thinks they can predict they out come better put those thoughts to the side. This is one roller coaster ride you you cannot anticipate.

This is most definitely a series and while each title can read be as a stand-all, the overall impact of the story is lost if they are not read as a series. I read each day as an individual book. Thankfully, Ms. Dawn has combined them into one book so that any reader can enjoy them continuously instead of watching and waiting for each day to be released.
