After Rain by A.L. Wood Release and Review

This is the second book in the Into The Storm Series. I was so happy to be back with Allegra, Nathaniel and Dominic. These three have a really strong bond and relationship. Now we are diving into the married life of Nate and Allegra and things have not been going great for a while. Nate is becoming more and more withdrawn. As time goes on it just gets worse and they aren’t communicating or doing anything that married couples should be doing. It is really heartbreaking to read actually. He is after all the love of her life and she knows that he is struggling but he will absolutely not let her in at all. No matter what or how hard she tires. However Nate is doing the best he can. He is dealing with a severe trauma the best and only way that he knows how. He knows that he is hurting Allegra and pushing her away and he has not a clue how to fix it and deal with what he is dealing with. Dominic however is there and his job is to help them in any way he can. But this is so taking a toll on him and I totally got why and how it would. I wish I could tell you this is a happy go lucky book and things were amazingly well and going great. But, I can’t. It will break your heart and put you through the ringer really. It is a journey of healing for sure and you have to get through the horrible to get to the good.
