About Alpha Hunted
I lost everything in a freak accident. My entire family; everything I’d ever cared about – gone in an instant. Unable to bear the constant reminders and emptiness of my life, I moved across the country to dull the loss, hopefully falling into the anonymity of a large city where even an alpha could disappear.
Starting over was never in my plans. All I wanted was to blend in and let life pass me by. Live in my modest studio apartment with my mindless job as an absentee owner of a popular juice bar downtown.
I spent my days with headphones in as I worked through each machine at the gym, grabbing a juice from my café on the way home, and drowning myself in the solitude of my house.
And then I met the only thing I’d never managed to obtain with my pack – an omega who made everything in me spark. And in the next breath, a shy beta who made my most basic instincts rear up and want to wrap her in my arms and give her the world.
Try as I may, I can’t seem to run far enough away from either of them. Once we meet, something keeps pulling us back together at every corner. Just as I start to give in and wrap myself in their pack that consists of two other alphas, I find out that the freak accident that took my first pack from me wasn’t an accident at all.
And now I’m being hunted by the murderers who intend to finish the job.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. It’s an interesting spin on how people refer to each other – Alpha, Beta, Omega – without being shifters. I thought this would be a shifter romance but it’s not. Still an interesting read.
It’s listed as Science-Fiction and maybe it is…though these people are natural born and it’s really in the same time as we are. Just how people see each other and are raised I supposed makes it more Sci-Fi than anything else. It is an Omegaverse and maybe since I haven’t read any like this before it confused me a bit. Still a good story though any way you look at it.
Ok so on with the story. Terence is an alpha who’s lost his mates. So in moving on from the reminders of their death he moves across country to deal – or really not deal – with the loss. When he meets his Omega, Kaiser, he all but runs from the man. If you know anything about Omegas – they’re sensitive emotionally. Kaiser doesn’t know what to think about why this man keeps running from him.
Anyway. I don’t want to spill many beans here but it’s worth a read. It’ll be real interesting to see what happens in the next book. These guys (4) and one woman make up an interesting group. If they can all stay alive that is. 🙂
Meet Crea Reitan
Crea lives in upstate New York with her dog and husband. She has been writing since grade school, when her second grade teacher had her class keep writing journals. She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. All of her RH relationships end up being heavily polyamorous – meaning it’s not just all the men for one woman. There’s also some M/M action going on. When she can’t fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center – and utterly swoon-worthy! Don’t ask her how many book boyfriends she has…
When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don’t even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). Sometimes, she enjoys crafting; sometimes, exploring nature; sometimes, traveling. Mostly, she enjoys putting her characters on paper and breathing life into them. Oh, and sleeping. Crea loves to sleep!
