BLURB
A wounded biker with a checkered past. A feisty dancer with a secret. An unexpected love that could destroy them both.
I was born a monster.
Seven feet tall with fists the size of balloons and an even bigger…boot size.
I’m a demon in the ring and a devil between the sheets.
But even I’m no match for her. The demoness with the bright emerald eyes and hair the color of snow.
She’s everything I’ve run from my whole sorry life and the only thing I’m afraid of, so why the hell do I find myself on her doorstep time and time again?
I’m not a good man. She should run as far as possible from me.
After doing time for a crime I didn’t commit, I took my revenge on those responsible.
It was brutal. It was bloody. It was satisfying.
Now she wants me to do the same thing for her.
But she isn’t being completely honest with me.
And when I find out the truth, there’ll be consequences for us all to pay.
*** Ares is book three in the Kings of Mayhem MC Tennessee series but can be read as a standalone. It features two emotionally wounded main characters, lots of red-hot chemistry, a twist you won’t see coming—throw in some crazed serial killers, and you’ve got a scorching romantic suspense burning up your Kindle.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reprots.
This is the third book in the Mayhem MC Tennessee but it can be read as a complete standalone. I am going to go ahead and warn you that Ares is going to steal your heart and he will not be giving it back. HE is a man who has been heckled and laughed out. Talked about behind his back all of his life. However the man is lucky enough to find love with the girl next door who is the most beautiful girl and she accepts and loves him for who he is. However good things never seem to last long and he finds himself blamed for something he would have never in a million years done and put in prison. Now he is back and he came out as a changed man. He is cold and feels nothing for anyone except for the people in his Mayhem family. He also seems to feel a little too, for Rory who is a young woman he meets because she has a very strange request for him. Here is where I have to shut up about the story because there are things that happen that I just can’t tell you and a twist I don’t think you will ever see coming. I fell so hard for Ares. He is a man who has not been through a lot and above all though he is honest and that was overlooked in him a lot in life. More times than he can count. But, life is hard and Penny soon finds out with the help of Penny how to be a survivor. She has been through so much and she is just perfect for Ares. This is a great book. I loved every single second of it.
