What lengths would you to to support your child? To keep a roof over her head and food in her belly? If your married to a drug addict who was using the rent money for drugs and you found your child crying in bed one night because she was hungry? You’d do about anything in the world you could for her. For a better life.
That’s the situation Alyssa aka Aurora James finds herself in. After a disastrous interview at a local strip club she cleans for a friends friend but still struggles. This leads her to The Den where she interviews and is hired by Xavier aka X. This starts a chain of life changing events for Aurora. Can she be the prostitute she needs to be to make the good money? Can she fight her attraction for her boss X? Will he allow her to be the good little prostitute or will he stand in her way because he wants her for his own?
This was a good book that held my attention. It had a ton of supporting characters that also added to the story. It’s got the heat you’ll be expecting from this type book but it also has mystery and danger. The ending though is huge and will have you wishing for 2016 and the next book in the series.

Warning: If you do not like violence, rape scenes, prostitution or situations where women are abused this book is NOT for you. Now if you like the darker side of reading then you will more than likely like this book. It was well written and flowed nicely there were some cookie cutter moments I had a hard time with reconciling with the story but I think in the end it made it much more like able that way. I found the main character Aurora to be a little naive but sweet and when push came to shove she could show strength. I found her love interest X to be cranky but sexy, dangerous yet loving. The obvious fight he has within himself give the book a good tone of struggle and the clawing to the surface for everything you have makes it all the more real. I will definitely read the next book. 4 Stars!

This book falls into the erotica genre, and some of it’s content my be offensive to others.
Alyssa aka Aurora and her young daughter, Sophie, are barely getting by. Alyssa’s ex blew all of their money on drugs and now he is in jail. When she hears Sophie crying one night because she is hungry, Alyssa decides to do whatever it takes to support her daughter. When an acquaintance gives her card with the name “The Den” on it, she decides to check it out. She walks into the Den thinking it is a high class strip club, but she soon discovers how wrong she is. Alyssa must decide is she wants to take on the persona Aurora and do the things that are expected of an employee of the Den.
When Aurora meets her sexy boss, Xavier, they are instantly attracted to one another. As they begin somewhat of a relationship, Xavier makes it known that he doesn’t want Aurora taking on any customers. Things go smooth for a while until a psycho kidnaps and attacks Aurora. After she is rescued, Aurora disappears for 42 days, and Xavier goes mad not knowing where she is and if she is safe.
While I mostly enjoyed this book, there were some sexual situations that made me uncomfortable. With that said, I would only recommend this book to people who would not be put off by some of the scenes in the book.
