Yours To Bare by Jessica Hawkins
Released: December 8, 2016
Synopsis
Finn
No matter how cruel it’s been in the past, I’ve never been able to flip fate the bird. I’m a romantic at heart. So when fate drops a leather-bound journal at my feet, I know I should walk away.
I don’t. I pick her up, bend her spine, spread her pages. From the first word, I’m a goner. The owner didn’t give me access to her most intimate desires, but I devour them anyway. Her private darkness, her candid, explicit poetry—it all goes down like warm milk. And from that point forward, I drink, eat, and sleep her.
Halston
I went to his apartment and let him take my picture. Just once, to see how it would feel. I’m not his to look at, to inspire, to touch, but when he watches me through his lens, it gives me a high I don’t want to come down from…
My journal is the one place I can be myself—as long as I can tie it up and put it away when I’m finished. But when Finn undoes the bow, he pulls strings that could unravel each of us.

Stephanie’s 5 Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
So…I had 24-hours to read Yours to Bare. I’m not complaining. Seriously. This is all it will take those of you who read as quick as I do to devour this book. Jessica Hawkins is an amazing writer and this book will definitely show you how amazing.
Yours to Bare will keep you on the edge of your seat. I swear I don’t know how many times in the hours it took me to read this book that I didn’t know if I wanted to finish but I HAD to. It’s one of those you can’t put down. You’ll connect with these characters. Finn is an amazing man who’s figuring out what makes himself tick and what he’s looking for in a life partner. Halston – well she’s figuring out who she really is.
Finn and Halston’s story is one of chance meeting…round about. HA! I don’t want to give the whole story away. He found something of hers and tried to track her down to give it back. Their story builds from there.
The building of the angst in this story was anticipatory. There’s a few conflicts. Nothing extremely major which was a tad disappointing however the build up of the individual characters was enough to have me score this a five star read.
