This is the story of Hayes and Brogan. I have to say that Hayes is not going to be your favorite person ever when you start this book. However, don’t give up on him. He and Brogan have a moment right after she finds out she has made the cheer team and she quickly discovers that she should have listened to her friend and believed what he said. Now she hates him and really wants nothing to do with him. However, she keeps running into him everywhere at the oddest moments. I don’t really want to go into details of the story as you need to go into it blind. There are several things in this book you have to sit and figure out. I loved Brogan. She is a girl that you would be friends with in real life if you knew her. She is funny and most of all she is not afraid to go toe to toe with Hayes when she has to. He is on the hockey team. Girls fall at his feet and he is a love them and kick them out kind of guy. I also have to say that Brogan dates this guy in this book that I really would have loved to have slept up the side of the head a time or two. Filled with some twists and turns this book is all you love in the Rachel Leigh book. I devoured it and was sad to see it end.
