Beauty and the Beast Boxset by L. Steele Release and Review

I haven’t read the Beauty and the Beast books before so I was super excited to read this book. It is a dark romance and a modern interpretation of a tale as old as time. It might contain triggers for some readers so you should heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. The complete boxset includes Mafia King, Mafia Queen and Mafia War. Michael and Karma don’t exactly meet in the most old fashioned or even modern ways there are to meet. Michael is a capo for Sicily’s notorious mafia company and unfortunately for Karma, her father owned him quiet a bit. He was tired of not getting paid and took Karma to repay the debt. However he just did not stop there. He married her with the intention of never caring about her but only to have a marriage of convenience and further his own ambitions. As you can imagine Karma is having none of this and if it is the last thing she ever does she is going to escape him and get her life back. However she never in a million years expected to feel anything ever for this man. This is a story that is a pretty epic story of love and how you think you don’t need what you really needed after all. I loved these two. I loved watching them grow as individuals and as a couple. There are lots of things going on in this book that will keep you one the edge of your seat and guessing what is going to happen next. It is certainly a story that will have you reading well into the night. It is a story that you do not want to miss.
