After the end of Beloved I looked forward to seeing what would become of Catherine and Jackson. They had a roller coaster of a relationship at best. It’s been one thing after another. Jackson tried to push Catherine away but she’s decided he’s worth the fight. She will stand by and support her man at all costs.
I think the author did a great job tying this book together with the first. I think there’s so much of her personal story included I would love to know fact from fiction. There’s always gotta be some kind of drama and there’s plenty of it in this story. The characters face everyday issues and once again – the truth will come out. Secrets are hard to keep. Especially one a big as Jackson has. Catherine is devastated. It makes for a great twist in the story.
As the two fight for or against each other the secondary characters totally see the end of the tunnel for the two but Catherine and Jackson just can’t see it yet. It’s like watching a soap opera play out. Definitely one you want to read!
I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review. I appreciate Ms. Michaels giving me this chance to review. I loved both of her stories. I am looking forward to seeing what comes next for her.
