Bethany-Kris is one of the authors I will grab any new release without looking at teasers or the blurb. I like going in blind. However I have read the first three books in this series so I had a few glimpses of Beni before starting this. But if you haven’t read the others in this series you can still pick this book up, I do however recommend reading the others first.
Mafia romances are one of my favorite troupes. I love the darker aspects of them. This book however was more focused on the romance side than anything. So it didn’t quite hit the mark for me there. However the story was still good. The insta connection between August and Beni was evident throughout the entire book. It was a quick read, yet something was missing to me. Having read the other books I guess I was expecting Beni to be a tad bit more on the crazy side. Overall it was a good story, and now more so then before I can’t wait to get my hands on Bene’s book.
SYNOPSIS
