Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Beyond Reason is the conclusion of Teller’s story. You need to have read Beyond Reckless first or you are going to be lost.
When the most toxic people in your life are disguised as family, who can you trust?? Betrayal by blood cuts the deepest.
Teller has found his ride or die girl in Charlotte. She brings light to his life that has touched the darkest parts of his soul. However, a devastating secret from her post resurfaces to threaten their future. When a sinister truth is exposed, Charlotte has no choice but to question everything about herself. Even if she is worthy of Teller’s love. But, with Teller’s love roaring louder than the lies, Charlotte can finally put her demons to rest. Has to much damage been done for her to prove her loyalty to the Lost Kings?
Beyond Reason takes place right where Beyond Reckless left off. I am a huge Teller fan too. I loved him in the first book and I fell more in love with him in this book. Get ready because the second half of Teller’s story is filled with twists and turns and with two people whose love for each other knows no bounds. These two have some serious chemistry and a passion that will melt your kindle. However Charlotte has a huge secret and is left with no choice but so is Teller. To say their relationship is put to the test is almost an understatement. Here though is where Charlotte started to shine for me. When it comes to how she reacts around her Uncle I just wanted to shake her in the beginning of the book to please tell Teller what was going on. He needed to know I thought but Charlotte didn’t say a word. She frustrated me at times through this series. Where she is at times all self doubt and at times I felt loathing Teller is steadfast and strong and is standing by her no matter what. However the MC comes first too. You also get to see the characters from the other books and members of the MC which made for some great scenes.
I loved this story and thought that Autumn Lake Jones did an amazing job. I can not wait to see what we are given next and for more of the Lost Kings.
