Blended is a hot and steamy story about overcoming life’s challenges and finding love. In this book, the reader gets to dive head first into Wade and Hadley’s lives. I mean really what are the odds that two people who share the same addiction would not only meet, but also share such an intense connection to one another?
We all know that people live by their own sets of rules. Take Wade for instance. In his life, he has some rigid rules that he never ever breaks. That is until Hadley walks into his life. He soon realizes that he will break all of his rules for her. And sweet Hadley? She has thrown any set of rules out the window. Hadley’s life for lack of a better term, sucks. She was raised in the foster care system, dealt with physical and sexual abuse, and that’s not the worst of it. She actually watched her mother commit suicide right in front of her. Hadley comes up with a way to numb her pain by having sex…a Lot! This results in her developing an addiction to sex.
These two meet on an elevator in Vegas never realizing that this moment in time will change their lives forever. We get to follow along as they try to establish a relationship, and boy it is not easy for them.
When I read a story, I have to feel a connection to the characters. If I don’t, I will probably move onto the next book. My favorite type of book is one that I can immerse myself in. I want to feel as if I am right beside them experiencing everything they are going through. This book gave me all of that and more! There are some twists and turns that might make you want to give up on the book, but please don’t! The ending will make up for any angst you felt while reading it. Such a great read!

Hadley is not someone who believes in love. She would rather thrive on the physical aspects of what men have to offer. The act calms her mind and is the only way she know how to deal with her demons. One look at a stranger in an elevator and Hadley narrows her attraction from multiple men to only one. He has Hadley on an unstable emotional high and she’s powerless to resist him. He’s determined to break her in and savor her as he does his favorite bottles of whiskey.
Blended is absolutely amazing. It drew me in from the first word and didn’t let me go until the last. I so loved being in Hadley and Wades world. Both sex addicts, one recovering and one with no interest in kicking the habit, it’s absolutely amazing how they are drawn to each other. Wade sees more in Hadley than she is has ever seen in herself. To say he’s determined is a understatement. Wade wants Hadley but refuses to give in to her addiction. He wants to break her then savor her. This story is absolutely beautiful. Watching Wade and Hadley fight to be together is a beautiful thing. I felt so many emotions right along with these characters. Every victory. Every battle. Every heartache. Every word spoken. It’s an amazingly beautiful journey that you do not want to miss.
This is the first book I’ve read by Sasha Brummer but it will not be my last. Her writing style is flawless. She also spins a world and story of two characters you never want to leave. A love story so epic you will remember it the rest of your life. Thank you Sasha Brummer for writing such an amazing book. I can’t wait to see what comes next. I so hope that one day we get Liam’s story. I’m just dying to know all about him.

An addicting, emotional, heart wrenching story about letting go of our pasts and the things meant to hurt us, about finding love, and about forgiveness of ourselves and others. Blended is well written, unique, gripping and intense with characters you will fall in love with. An absolute must read!!
I had no idea what to expect going into Blended. It starts out a little strong and I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Hadley but the story that evolves is beautiful, emotional, and heartbreaking at times. I grew to love her.
Blended is the story of Hadley and Wade. Two broken souls who use sex as a way to cope with issues from their pasts. They meet by chance and then they meet again. Perhaps fate knew they needed each other? I’m not sure- but I am glad they did.
Hadley and Wade are both very well developed characters. Wade is one hell of a guy. Swoon. He’s bossy and hot, he’s passionate and sweet. He’s as broken as Hadley is, but he is determined to help the woman he falls in love with. Hadley is a tough one to break. Her past was rough. Very rough. Which explains her behavior and the way the book starts. Together they have a ton of ups and down. Their chemistry and passion is off the charts. I enjoyed seeing their interactions and how they let their walls down for each other.
Blended has many twists and turns. So much push and pull. The walls come down, then are put up again. There are so many reasons they shouldn’t be together and so many they should. The way they help each other overcome their demons is beautiful and touching.
Blended is beautifully written, addicting, passionate, intense, gripping and powerful. An absolute must read that will grip your heart and soul. My first, but definitely not my last, book by Sasha. A definite must read!
