Title: Break Out
Series: Riot MC Next Generation Book 1
Author: Karen Renee
Release Date: July 30, 2024
Genre: MC Romance

I grew up the daughter of Riot MC president. But as much as I love the biker life, my dad insists I break out and live in the ‘real’ world.
After four years of college, everything is great until the night my boyfriend breaks things off.
Reeling and angry, I wander into a small bar and perch on a stool next to an older man. He’s hotter than summer in the Deep South and he goes by the name Steel.
We can’t resist the spark between us.
One night. No strings, no muss, no fuss.
Except for one snag…
When I find Steel again, my ex is bumming cash from the man he calls Dad.
Even worse, he’s one of my dad’s oldest enemies. Once Steel knows who I am, he’s more interested in my ties to the Riot MC than in the secret I have to tell him.
He’s the father of the baby I’m carrying.
My extended Riot family wants to protect me at all costs, but it’s hard to say whose hold I want to break out from more–theirs or Steel’s.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is an age gap romance. This is the story of Steel and Simone. She is the daughter of the President of the Riot MC and he is a member of a rival MC. She is just getting out of a relationship and she is pretty angry about that. After all her ex is the one to do the dumping. To celebrate she does to a bar that she knows her ex would never set foot in. He’s to good for that. When she meets Steel in the bar they have this instant attraction to each other that leads to one of the best no strings attached nights of both their lives. He is older and hotter than any man she has ever seen. Except no one expected the snag that is going to affect them both. However when she goes to find Steel she discovers two things. One, her ex is bumming money and calling Steel dad. Two he is one of her fathers oldest enemies. When the club gets involved because Steel is more interested in using her again her dad things take some serious twists and turns. All she wants is to be free of it all. Will she ever be able to accomplish this goal. I loved this book Simone is one though woman and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She doesn’t want to be controlled by anyone and that is the turn her life is taking. I really loved Steel in the beginning and then I went though a period of not being a fan. However, don’t give up on him. I really loved reading this book!!

Karen Renee is the author of the Riot Motorcycle Club, Beta, and O-Town series of books. She once crunched Nielsen ratings data but these days she brings her imagination to life by writing books. She has wanted to be a writer since she was very young, but it’s taken the last twenty plus years for her to amass enough courage and overall life experience to bring that dream to life. Some of those life experiences came from the wonderful world of advertising, banking, and local television media research. She is a proud wife and mother, and a Jacksonville native. When she’s not at the soccer field or cooking, you can find her at her local library, the grocery store, in her car jamming out to some tunes, or hibernating while she writes and/or reads books.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
