I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Andrea and Savio. She is a writer and he is a priest. Now I don’t know how to tell you much about this book and not give something away. These two are really some interesting characters. He catches her attention when he is kidnapped in a foreign country. She sees him on the new and is immediately taken with him. This man has really lived through it and because of that he has a darkness inside of him. She is the opposite and has become the guardian in a manner of speaking for many people. She is good and tries her best. However she gets sick and knows that the time has come to go and find her priest. And that is all I can tell you. This book is dark and you do need to check your trigger warnings. I loved every second of this book and devoured it.
