This is a MMF hockey romance. It is the story of Butcher, Kaylee and Levi. Butcher is a hockey player and really good at what he does. He has dedicated his entire life to the sport. No women, no parties, just practice and games. His entire world revolves around the game. He also is a man who is carrying around a secret that no one can ever find out. Mainly because he doesn’t take the time to explore the things he needs to explore to figure some things out. His plan is to explore things when he hangs up his skates and is no longer so focused on the game that has consumed his entire life for a while. However, when his team wins the championship, of course there is a party. He just never expected to end up in a hotel room with his teammate Levi and a really beautiful woman they all were introduced to by their captain. Levi is also his straight team mate and a pastors son. Or so he thinks. Things are about to get very interesting for all three of them. But after a night that changes a lot of things for all of them, they all know this is more than just being out at a party and having a night no one ever saw coming. I have a few things that I wasn’t to crazy about in this book. I feel like if you took the two MMC’s and combined them together then you would have had one perfect boyfriend. I wanted a little more of Levi than him being an emotional mess at times and holding onto secrets. I don’t know that I liked the ending at all. It is so not where I thought this was all going to go and we have such a wonderful character in Kaylee until the moment that all changed for me and you will know when you get there.
