This is the story of Lilah and Killian. She is a popstar. She is one her way home from a tour. There is a lot for her label to figure out concerning tour dates and security for her. She needs new security desperately as she is not totally away just how in need of that security she really is. Killian is a MMA fighter and his family business is security. However, Lilah hates Killian due to the past they have. These two wish to stay as far away from each other as humanly possible. While she hates him, he doesn’t feel the same about her. He just avoids her like the plague. However, when the seriousness of the situation hits home, Killian’s protective instinct kicks in and they are forced to spend a lot of time together. You have to read the book to figure out the entire story. I loved reading this book. These two characters had such great chemistry and it feels like your watching a little movie in your head while your reading. I loved how strong Lilah is. The girl is determined not to have to live her life differently and she would never disappoint her fans even if it puts her in danger. She wants her freedom and her fame and those two collide at times, big time. Killian is so confident that it oozes off him. He will protect those he loves with his very life. He is strong and fierce and so supportive. He does have a dirty mouth and that is one of my favorite kind of male characters to read about. You do not want to miss this book. You will love it as much as I did.
