This is a fast read. Or it was for me. I had to know what was going on. This is the story of Domnhall and Brooke/Madi. Brooke woke up one day in a hospital and had absolutely no memory of her life. However, she has made a couple of friend at the women’s shelter that have really helps her and given her a place to stay while she tired her best to get her memory back. Moria and Quinn have talked her into selling something for auction since she has no memory and needs the money to build her life. It is the perfect opportunity to make some fast money and start over. Domnhall is helping his friend Caleb to put on the auction since his club Carnal needs the money so they don’t have to shut down. After all Domnhall only is invested in the club for two reason. He is a Dom and it is a safe place for his sister Moria to be who she is and her stay safe. However, the second he sees Brooke some on the auction block he knows that now is his time for revenge. The last time she saw him she promised to help him and his sister escape a horrible situation and she never showed up at the airport. He swore he would have his revenge if he ever saw her again. Now here she stands and fifty million dollars later they are out the door. He doesn’t care about the rules and has the perfect opportunity to keep her locked away until he can figure it all out. However, he has not a clue that she has no memory. H certainly doesn’t believe her when she says she had no memory and she has no clue what it going on. This book has twists and turns and shocking revelation in it. I think I closed this book a little floored. I sure didn’t see what was coming coming. There is so much to uncover and it will keep you reading until you have finished the book. I still don’t know how I feel about what was actually going on. Days later and I am still processing. But I read it like the book was on fire and might disappear so it is good.
