This is the fourth book in the Sinners series from Michelle Heard. This is an Italian Mafia Romance and it is dark. It will contain triggers for some readers. You should heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. Mariya Koslov is a Bratva Princess. On her twenty sixth birthday she is out celebrating with a weekend in Las Vegas. However the ending of the night is one that is surprising to her the next morning when she wakes up with a wedding ring on he left ring finger and Luca Cotroni in her bed. Luca Cotroni is the head of the Italian Mafia and the man has been in love with Mariya from afar for as long as he can remember. He is a busy man and has been solidifying his position as the leader and a good leader never ever lets a good opportunity pass them by. The perfect opportunity has come in the form of a birthday celebrating Mariya and he is not about to let the woman really wants get away and a wedding is just what he needs to make her his for the rest of their lives. As you can imagine she is shocked the next morning and he is a very happy man who knows that she will see this is what is best for them both. However their father’s when they find out insist that they stay married for six months before they can even consider an annulment. Can she survive the six months living with this man, being his wife or will they not be able to make it in one piece or will feelings start to take shape and they just might learn they got much more than they bargained for from their accidental marriage. This book is filled with so many twists and turns right up to the very end. We can’t forget that the leader of the Italian Mafia has enemies and those enemies never sleep. You will not be able to put this book down and I fell hard for these characters. I have read every book in this series and have loved them all. But I really fell hard for Mariya and Luca and they are for sure my favorites so far in the series. This is one of those series that you can’t wait to get you hands on the next book and you wait on bated breath for a new release to happen. It is for sure a series that you never want to end.
