I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Aaliyah and Von. These two are as opposite as opposite can be. She is a preacher daughter who is not only running from her wedding, but also the small town she lives in with her family that have some serious expectations for her. She wants nothing more than to go to college and really figure out who she is. Von is a single dad who it also a tattoo artist and in desperate need of a live in nanny. When Aailyah lands in Chicago, when know that finding a place to live and job that fits her schedule, but being a live in nanny is the perfect fit for her. It solves her needing a place to live and a job. Von is not the nicest person but he is also going through a lot. But he really is an awesome father to his daughter, who at times steals the show. Aaliyah does a lot of discovering who she is while learning so much. If she doesn’t catch the house on fire. There is a lot of growth and discovering in this book. You are going to be hooked from the beginning to the end of this book.
