Cocky is the conclusion and the fifth book in the Spartan Riders MC Series from J.C. Valentine. You need to go back and read the first four before reading this book. It just makes for better reading and I have loved each and every one of them.

Kade “Moose” Hunter doesn’t tolerate drama. He’s cocky, unapologetic, and all about the quiet side of life. That’s why Mouse fits him so well. Angel “Mouse” Grace isn’t like the other women hanging around the club. She’s sweet and gentle, and when Moose gets her engines revving, her passion burns bright. A cesspool of crime and addiction, the Spartans face yet another challenge: confront crime lord Manuel Contreas and risk war, or worse death. When Angel’s kid sister rolls into town and takes a shine to the Spartan’s mortal enemy Moose if torn between doing what is best for his family…and what’s best for this love life. Will he be able to strike a balance, or lose everyone he cares about in the process?

I loved this book and devoured it in practically one sitting. I have read and love each and every book in this series so I love the Spartan’s. All of them. I have always known that when we got the story of Moose that it would be absolutely amazing and it didn’t disappoint. Moose hasn’t had a good life and a lot of stuff has happened to him in the past. Now though he has meet Mouse and is thinking about claiming her. About a future. Moose is super laid back and he doesn’t do drama. It is the thing that destroys relationships and he wants no part of it. He is just super laid back and chill but if you make him mad you better run. He’s one of those kinds of people. Not quick to get mad but when you push it and make him mad you better freaking run for your life. Mouse is perfect for him. She doesn’t do drama either and when these two get going their super passionate and will just about melt your kindle in you hands. The only problem he can see is finding a way to convince Angel, his mouse, to wear his patch. He just has this feeling deep down that Angel isn’t one to fall into a relationship. She just doesn’t do them. He isn’t far off base as she knows that falling for a good man and that he is under her skin and wants more….more is what she just doesn’t want. Can she commit like Moose wants her too? She’s gets a huge surprise when her sister she hasn’t seen in years breaks into her house basically and scares the crap out of Angel. She knows that her sister is going to bring trouble into her life. She just didn’t expect it to be the kind of trouble to mess with her life and her relationship. I loved these two characters so much and every single second of their journey. This is a great conclusion to this series. A series that I am sad to see end. I have loved every single book in this series and the time I have spent with these characters. I can not wait to see what J.C. Valentine comes up with next.
