About Crazy Wicked Love:

Scorching heat, laugh-out-loud humor, and swoon-worthy moments abound in this sexy new standalone romance by New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Melissa Foster.   What happens when the player gets played? Sidney Carver has a big problem, and he goes by the name of Dwayne “Gunner” Wicked: six-plus feet of muscular, motorcycle-riding, animal-loving deliciousness. Gunner is her boss, roommate, and best friend. They’ve seen each other through life-altering injuries and unimaginable losses, and they work side by side at Wicked Animal Rescue, fulfilling their passion to save animals. Unfortunately, Gunner is also the man Sidney is in love with, and he’s the ultimate player. As her former military comrade, Gunner sees her as his buddy—just one of the guys. Sidney is at her wit’s end, ready to risk the friendship and job she adores for a chance at forever love with the man she can’t live without. Like any good marine, she comes up with a mission. Enter Operation Get My Guy.   Gunner loves his life. He has a family he adores, a brotherhood that always has his back, and a host of willing women to warm his bed. As the owner of Wicked Animal Rescue, he saves lives and works with his best friend, Sid, the coolest woman on the planet. When Sid concocts a crazy plan to win his cousin’s heart, Gunner reluctantly agrees to be her wingman and comes up with a plan of his own.   Practices heat up as roommates become teammates. Let the wicked fun begin…   No cheating. No cliffhangers. Guaranteed to melt panties and leave readers hopelessly in love with the sinfully delicious Wickeds.   About The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. These men are wickedly alpha and intensely loyal, but they are NOT alphaholes.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a friends to lovers romance and man is it ever going to steal your heart. Sidney and Gunner have been best friends for what feels to them like forever. They were both in the military together and have gone though so much together. Now that they are home they work and live together. These two are so perfect for each other you can feel it in your very bones and all of their friends can see it too. Now Sidney is starting to see it and she isn’t fine with being friend-zoned any longer. Gunner is a guy who is wicked to the bone. He is one smoking hot man that is protective and if he loves you he is there for you always, he loves animals and will just melt you into a puddle of goo. He though is not very smart since he can’t see what is right in front of him in Sidney.
I loved these characters and they have such a story to tell that will have you reading well into the night. I loved every single second of this book and couldn’t lay it down.

Exclusive Excerpt:

SIDNEY CARVER HAD a big problem. She sat at the kitchen table in her underwear and T-shirt early Sunday morning, pondering her situation. It wasn’t like she’d planned on falling in love with her best friend, who also happened to be her roommate and her boss for the last three years. She swirled a waffle finger in the pool of chocolate syrup on her plate, staring absently, as if a solution might magically appear there. If only… Short of leaving Cape Cod and the dog rescue she adored, her father and friends, and the only man she’d ever loved, she saw no reasonable way out of the situation. It was too bad holding a gun to his head and forcing him to love her back would land her in jail, because that sounded easier than walking away. She had been attracted to Gunner since they’d first met, but her feelings had deepened over the years, and lately those feelings had gotten too big to deny. This was one of the few times in her life that she wished she had a mother to talk to. She’d been raised by an amazing father who had been only twenty when she was born, and he had taught her all about life, loyalty, and bravery. She could face a battlefield head-on, shoot a gun with expert precision, train dogs to save people’s lives, and nurture them back to health when they were injured. But winning her bestie’s heart was foreign territory, and she’d never been schooled in flirting or using her feminine wiles. She was more of a love me as I am or leave me girl, and she knew Gunner loved her as a friend just as she was, but way deep down, she also knew they could be so much more if he’d only let himself see her in that light. She heard a door open upstairs and froze, her pulse quickening as said problem’s heavy footsteps sounded above her, followed by the scampering of his rescue dogs, Granger, Belleau, and Opha Mae. The farmhouse stairs creaked beneath his weight, reminding her of the woman Sidney had heard leaving his room around two in the morning and causing a resurgence of the jealousy that had been driving her nuts lately. She needed to either figure out how to win him over without risking their friendship or get over him altogether, because watching a trail of women do the walk of shame from his bedroom wasn’t on her to-do list. Why did she have to fall for a player?
