This is now their city but Anya is very upset and frustrated that her other half has just upped and disappeared. Not that she can’t handle their business, but it is exhausting and now a man with a ruthless reputation is in town and requesting a meeting? River Bently has a reputation of being as ruthless as the twins are. Maybe even more so in some ways. He owns the west coast but has come to the east because he needs a meeting with Alek Ivonov but he is missing. He is owed a lot and if he can’t get it out of the brother he will go to his sister. From the moment he sees the stunning red headed Anya he knows that this woman is going to be his. He loves her fire. He loves the way that she is certainly no damsel in distress and can take care of herself. She is as ruthless as her reputation. But can he make her fall for him? Well, you have to read this book to find out. I loved these characters. I loved that River wasn’t a man that gave up when it came to Anya. He loved to get under her skin and under he certainly did get often. He frustrated her. A woman that says she needs no one. Anya is one heck of a strong female character. But my heart broke for her over her brother. Every time he didn’t answer the phone my heart really felt for her. But make no mistake she is lethal. A force to be reckoned with, and a over all general bad butt. I loved reading this book.
