Devil’s Thirst by Jill Ramsower is now live!

A new neighbor with a secret identity and a deadly obsession…

Amelie

I knew I shouldn’t have asked him for a ride.

My new neighbor is a study in contradictions—covered in tattoos and dripping intensity.

He’s alluring yet aloof, and his every calculated move is dangerously seductive.

Little did I know, he’s been systematically inserting himself into every part of my life.

Creeping beneath my protective armor.

Trapping me like a fly in his web before revealing his true identity.

Now, he’s standing before our families calling me his future wife.

He doesn’t understand that my life isn’t that simple.

I have secrets of my own, and his obsession with claiming me might just get me killed.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Amelie and Sante. These two meet at her sisters wedding. Both of these characters are damaged and young but he felt something for her. However, he is being sent to Sicily and will stay there for four years. Now that he is back he tends to have some stalking skills and is always keeping an eye one her. Amelie is a ballerina and he loves to watch her dance. He even moves in next door to her. However, four years have past and she does not recognize him as the man she met at her sister’s wedding. Sante however is not afraid to be the villain in all the stories. He is obsessed, unhinged, very demanding and is not ashamed of the methods he will use to get the woman he wants. Amelie is a girl living with trauma from her past. She is really talented and devoted to her dancing, and is such a caring person she often puts herself last when caring for the ones she loves. Total opposites that have an attraction to each other that is fiery and passionate and unconventional. This story at times will break your heart for Amelie. I actually shed tears reading this book. She is a girl drowning in her past and really in a way Sante is determined to save her and make it all go away. I loved reading this book. You do not want to miss it.

Meet Jill

Jill is a Texan, born and raised. She manages the hectic social calendars for her three active children and occasionally spends an evening with her dashing husband. Aside from being an author and a mom, she’s a travel junkie and loves to read when she is not lost in her own stories.

With Jill’s books, you can count on confident heroines, plenty of steamy tension, and deliciously assertive leading men. There are no guarantees in life, but with her books, you know everything will work out in the end. However, a perfect ending would not be nearly as satisfying without a seemingly insurmountable challenge. Jill loves to add plenty of adversity in her stories, creating unforgettably dynamic characters and sneaky plot twists you will never see coming.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
