This is the story of Crew and Aspen. Aspen is a private investigator who moved to the town of Dusk Valley to find a serial killer. The Prom Night Arsonist. Crew is a firefighter and a bit of a bad boy too. When these two meet it is him saving her life as she is trapped in a fire. He knows that he should have been fighting fire, save a life, pass her to the paramedics and forget. However, he is unable to do that. He certainly never should have offered her a place to stay that involved staying with him. But he does and so the insta love hunt for a serial killer begins. I was super invested in finding out who was doing this. These two have some amazing banter and chemistry. This is a good romance with a twist.
