If you ever wanted to go backwards in a book world and find out more about it, then you get your wish in this book. You go back to the beginning and see how some of the world in this book came about. It gave me prequel feels for sure. I must warn you that this series is dark and twisted and this is the third book. You need to have read the first three to read this one. I loved learning more about Liliana and Ciaran’s starting point. You will also get the game plan or pre plans to the devil’s playground. You get to really realize how horrifying the playground really is. It is crazy to me that families created these games. Ciaran and Liliana come from very powerful and deviant families. Each of the children in the families are to to tested in the games to prove that they are ready and worthy to take over. If they don’t finish the games they are simply wiped off the face of the earth like they were never ever even born. You will get answers to questions you have had and I’m just wow at reading this book. If you like your series dark and twisted then you do not want to miss this one.
