I have loved every book in this series and Midnight Whispers is a great addition to this series. This is a bit of a Cinderella retelling. It is the story of Cinder and Nero. Cinder is the step-sister of Nero’s ex-fiance. But he also has been taken with her at the local exotic club. They see each other again when he is blowing off some steam after finding out about the betrayal of his ex. He came in trying to forget the betrayal and left with a new obsession. This guys is a man who has an obsession problem and is has been a bit of a stalker in the past. However, no matter what anyone says to him his pull to Cinder is really strong and he can’t ignore that. Cinder has been under the step-families thumb for a long time. When she sees Nero at the club she knows that she should tell him the connection she has to his ex. But, she is really loving having his eyes on her. After all no one pay any attention to the step-sister. I have to shut up about this book. I don’t want to give anything away about this story but I will say that I love this story. I loved the characters. The spice that this book has and I devoured this book. I loved the push and pull of this book. Nero’s beliefs can’t be swayed and that stood in the way of them at times. This is a really great book that you do not want to miss.
