We met at his ex’s wedding, where she uttered their safe word in her vows. Immediately his jaw clenched, and his hands balled into tight fists.

Then moments later, he told her I was with him. When in reality, I had snuck into the wedding.

Knowing full well he was trouble, when I tried to leave, he gripped my arm and whispered in a low, intimidating voice.

“Do you sneak into weddings often?”

His words had me stuck to the spot.

It took only a few moments for me to realize this man was dangerous. The only logical thing I could do was kick him where it counts.

Little did I know that man was a hunter.

And it didn’t take him long to find me…
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in The Hunter’s Series. A series that follows a set of brothers. This is Kyson’s story. Kyson is doing something stupid and going to his ex’s wedding. He really shouldn’t have but if he hadn’t he wouldn’t have met the most annoying girl he has ever met. She has been a little sneak and gone to the wedding uninvited and in a dress that is way to big for her but she catches his eye. Kalilah. She is a girl on the run though you won’t know why for a little while but when Kyson sees her again she is very drunk falls flat of her face and ends up seeing things she should not have. He takes her from the street and bring her home with him until he can decide what to do with her. Kyson is a man who is good at what he does. A little cold at times but can read her mind as if he was in her head and I loved that so much. He and his brothers are hired to exterminate and they are good at it. However Kyson being sent on a job uncovers something about the man Pops who made them who they are and he is also one the verge of getting out of the business with his brothers. He never saw Kalilah coming and I loved every single second of watching the connection between them grow. There banter is. She gives as good as she gets and then some. The girls is tough. Has lived through some horrible things and ran. She really gave Kyson a run for his money. I have to shut up or I’m going to sit here and tell you about the entire book. I loved it and can not wait to get the next book in the series.

Hold on to your p&nties cause the Hunter twin Kyson will incinerate them!- MissPetiteBrunetteBookBlog
