This is the story of Alaska and Zuko. This is a dark romance and you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book.
Alaska has interesting jobs. She goes by Sage for one job and Alaska is her real name whens he is working in the bar. I will let you discover her first job when you read the book. It won’t take you long to find out what it is. Zuko is one of her callers and one of her favorite ones at that. He calls her a lot and is developing an addiction to her really. She also works at a bar where she is a waitress and makes big tips. She is so popular at the bar that she is booked well in advance by her VIP’s. However one night at work her friend, her one and only friend really, asks her to wait on one of her tables because she has gone to school with a set of twins and they make her so nervous she just can’t do it. Zuko, Kyson and and Kenzo are brother and they are hunters and very good at what they do. The best there is actually. From the moment he sees Alaska, Zuko has a big interest in her but he also has Sage and there is just no way they can be the same person. However, Alaska is not having it. If they are not going to tip well she will not be helping them anymore. What’s a man to do when a woman wants to be tipped well? Well, hand her your unlimited black card of course. A black card that she gives real work out. I have to shut up about the story or I am going to tell you the entire thing. From the moment I picked this book up, I was hooked. I loved these characters. Alaska is one tough female who hates to be touched, takes no crap off of anyone and has always looked out for and supported herself. She has seen and been through things in this life and shes never going to be broke or in that position again. Zuko has a very specific job. He prefers to be only in the company of his brothers and Pop when he has to. He is not a social man but the moment his eyes land on Alaska he can’t stop thinking about her. He is fierce in his protectiveness, loyal to the core and smoking hot. There is a lot that goes on in this book but our main focus stays on Zuko and Alaska. I loved it. I can’t say that enough times. I also am so curious about his brothers and I can’t wait to get Kyson’s book in my hot little hands. This is a book you do not want to miss.
