I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is a short holiday read MC style. It is also the Prequel to the Saint’s Outlaws series from Nikki Landis. It is the story of Ginger and Brick.
Ginger is trying to get home for the holidays. However, mother nature has other plans for her and she finds herself stranded in Denver Colorado where she has a layover while heading home. What she doesn’t see coming is an offer she can’t refuse from a tattooed bearded biker who offers to get her home. He promises he will get her there and that he isn’t a creep. This leads to some hot cocoa. A ride on a Harley snuggled up again him and a kiss under the mistletoe. Everything is perfect until he kidnaps her.
Brick is taking one of his brothers to the airport on Christmas Eve. If one of this brother’s needs him, he is always willing to lend a hand. When he is leaving the airport he sees a beauty that he knows he should know but can’t place and offers her a ride home for Christmas. Things should have been easy. Take her home so she can enjoy Christmas and spend some time with her. But he is being followed and he knows that it is an enemy of the club. Now he has to take her to a safe house to keep her protected.
I loved reading this story. I think it is eighty six pages but it an eighty six pages book that really sucks you in and feels like you have read a full sized book. I loved these characters. I will not be forgetting Brick and his Gingersnap and the story they had to tell. It is a really great Christmas read.
