I am just going to go ahead and say that I devoured this book. I didn’t lay it down until I was finished. This is the story of Oz and Winslet. Winslet and her brother Perry have never had an easy love. Their mother was horrible and she was constantly yelling and abusing these two. Winslet it one tough cookie because she always protected her brother. Now they are grown and Perry has gotten himself into some serious trouble. These two don’t leave near each other and Winslet is a teacher at a local Christian School. While out shopping the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on needs to know where the paint is. However, when he approaches her in the parking lot, things take a turn. Oz is a member of the Mississippi Branch of the Southern Mafia and he is good at what he does. However, Perry has stolen a large sum of money and they only way they have to get to him is take his sister. Things certainly take a turn or Winslet. But for Oz, he has met a woman that he absolutely can’t get out of his head. Oz is a man that could have any woman he wants and he certainly never has had a desire to be in a relationship. Like I said this book is so good. I loved the push and pull between these two. I loved that he cared about her well being even if her brother really messed him up in his business dealings. Winslet is sweet, and caring and a woman who is trying to do her job despite the drama in the school. This book has so many twists and turns. You are going to love it.
