Blurb:

Once, he had been my entire world. If he’d asked, I’d have given up every dream and plan I had for him. But he hadn’t asked. The day we lost Vanna, his mother, and the closest thing I’d ever had to one, I’d lost him too.

Eighteen years later, I’m back in Florida, trying to create a new life for myself after a year of going through the motions since my husband’s death. It’s probably best we don’t know the future because I wouldn’t have walked into that bar if I’d known my eyes would collide with the boy who had shattered me long ago.

But Rome wasn’t that boy anymore. He was a biker with a leather vest, tattoos, and piercings.

While I’d been mesmerized by the man he’d become, all he’d had to say to me was that I had gotten old. Leaving to never step foot back there again, fate plays a cruel twist where the new life I thought I’d found turns out to be a lie constructed by someone I trusted most, and the only one to save me is a biker named Tex.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the third book in the Judgement Series. You can read this book without reading the first two, but they are equally as good and you will be missing some great reads if you haven’t read them.
This is the story of Rome and Salem. Salem though had a horrible home life and Rome’s mom literally save her by bringing her into her home so she could get out of her situation. These two are instantly drawn to each other but there is a age gap between them and she is still just fifteen. He is a guy working in a motorcycle shop, extremely protective of Salem and willing to wait. She is a great artist and has a big dream of going to art school in the future. But when tragedy strikes it tears them apart in more than one way. Now eighteen years have passed. Rome is now known by Tex and is a member of The Judgement MC. He has found and made his own family but never a girl to settle down with.. Salem is married to a very wealthy man who is really good to her but she is restless in some way and her life while good is still not the life she thought she would be living with Rome. As life moves on things change and these two are thrown back into each other’s lives. From that moment on, buckle up for one bumpy thrill ride that will have you reading this book well past your bedtime.
I loved that this book is told in the past and the present. I adored Rome and Salem. I feel like this is a story about life and love and the curve balls that it throws your way. All while never forgetting the one person you loved more than anything all those years ago. It is a very beautiful story with twists and turns and moments that will have you one the edge of your seat. You do not want to miss it.
