I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
I really enjoyed this book. This is a super steamy office romance. Or a meeting between two strangers at first that act upon their instincts and have the moment. The moment you don’t forget about ever. A moment that actually happens in public and sends Remi straight in to stalker mode. But this is a result of the mixed signals that Nox is giving her and I felt like at times I would have been right there with her in those moment. Because they are some serious mixed signals. However that doesn’t stop her from having some cringe worthy moments too. However Nox knows himself well and he knows that he can be a super confusing man. Maybe I should say he is complicated. After all it isn’t many times that you meet a new employee and then act like you never had this amazing moment with them. Poor Remy and I think Nox was confusing to himself at times too. I don’t want to go on and on about the story or I am going to be saying something that would be a spoiler and I would never do that. I really loved reading this book. It is on that for me started just a little slow but it don’t take it long to hook you and you just have to know what is going to happen next. I also have to say that Willow Woods has done an absolutely amazing job with this book. It is her debut novel and if you didn’t know that it was you wouldn’t know that she has not been writing books long before Pieces of Him.
Willa Woods, writes about over the top alphas and the woman they fall for. She wrote her first short story when she was in the sixth grade. Her first alpha was her dog, Bruiser. She has always been an avid reader, spending all her free time when younger at the library. She loves chocolate , pineapple gummy bears, and jewelry. When she’s not writing, she is binging the latest show on Hulu or Netflix. She is an avid gardener and loves to hang out on her back deck watching all the birds and bees, (see what I did there) enjoying all the plants and flowers she has grown. Her and her husband love to go to stock car races. This is her first novel. She hopes you will enjoy reading it as much as she did writing it.
