There’s a theory about twins that says one is always good, and the other evil.

And from the outside looking in, I’m sure it looks that way when it comes to my brother and I.

After all, he’s a priest, and I’m a hitman, our career paths are both a product of our childhood in one way or another.

But my twin is every bit as f*cked up as I am, and I’m more determined than ever to prove that to the world now she’s in his life.

Waverly is a bright light.

She’s broken in a way that calls to us both, and I was obsessed from the first time I saw her.

Too bad my brother got to her first.

But I’ve never let a thing like that stop me before, and I’m not about to start now.

Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Waverly Emmett and Kade. Emmett and Kade are twin brothers. I love that we go to see ten years in the past that led us to where we are in the present. Ten years ago Emmett was sent on a job by his father. He has a target and a job to do, but wasn’t prepared to see the target’s daughter Waverly. To say that he is obsessed from the moment he sees her is an understatement. He is not about to take the chance of something happening to this woman and helps her to escape. He also decides right then to keep an eye on her from that moment to the present. When his twin Kade see his twin helping the target’s daughter he needs to know why his twin would do this. After all he helped him do it. Now he too is keeping a close eye on her. In the present Waverley is oblivious to the fact that she has caught the attention of two very dangerous men. Emmett now has left his family and their business to become a priest, while his twin Kade stayed working for their father while always keeping Waverley’s safety a top priority. When she begins working at a club that Kade owns Emmett sees this as his chance to get closer to her. Even if he has to pretend to be his twin. However, he ssons finds out that his twin has been trying to get closer to her too. I have to stop taking or I will give something away. I really loved reading this book. I loved these character’s.. We get to see sides of them that are unexpected. Their protectiveness and devotion to Waverley made me love them both even if they can’t get along sometimes. Everly is really sweet but that girl has walls that for thousands of miles high. They have their job cut out for them. Will they all get what they want in the end? You have to read to find out.

Montana was inspired to write her own stories from an early age and it wasn’t long before her dream became becoming an author one day. Life hasn’t always been kind to Montana, but each of the challenges she has faced she has turned into a positive outcome, and has made her want to achieve her dream that much more.

Montana is a lover of all living creatures, except for spiders, and her love for her pets is never ending. She leads an active lifestyle and enjoys many different cuisines, often referring to herself as a garlic bread connoisseur. Montana loves to travel, and has found inspiration while exploring the USA and Canada with her wonderful husband. She has always loved everything Disney and is a pop culture nerd.

She attributes her ability to write romance to her husband, Sam, as she’s inspired every day by their fairytale love story. If she can bring about positive change in one persons life with something she has written, she will consider herself a successful author.
