Pretty Little Island, a high school bully, dark romance from debut author Rhea Ryan is out now!
Blurb:
Torn between two lovers on a pretty but deadly island, London King must survive the ravages of the wilderness and a battle for her heart.
My first day at New Ocean Prep was supposed to be a fresh start. A chance to return to my hometown—leaving my ruined life behind me. My goal is simple. Keep my grades up, my head down, and focus on securing my spot in a top journalism program.
My past catches up with me as I’m drawn towards the two hottest hockey players in school. A trip to a national hockey tournament in Alaska has me investigating the truth behind what happened to a girl they tormented and killed two summers earlier.
This story has more layers than I imagined. The deeper I enter their world, the stronger our bonds become until I can’t tell whose side I’m really on.
Renee’s Five Star Review
This is the story of London. She is a girl who left her home but has now returned when things went bad where her and her mom moved. Now she is back at New Ocean Prep. Her fresh start. All she wants to do is keep up her grades, keep her head down, and secure a spot in the journalism program. However two of the hottest boys in school is where she finds her attention drawn. They are hockey players and are going to be going to a national hockey tournament. One plane trip and London could be writing a story about the twins on the team. However, things are not that simple and now it is a fight for survival on a pretty little island where things are not as they seem and any and everyone could be your enemy at any moment. I will say that I loved this story. I loved London and the twins but holy goodness what a cliffhanger. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and when it ends it ends. Now I am all for a good cliffhanger but I don’t know that I am crazy about waiting almost a year to get the second half of the story.
