They say monsters are made, not born.
He was both…
Chase
As the second youngest Ravage brother, I’ve spent my entire adult life rectifying our tainted family name and keeping my urges behind closed doors.
Until my best friend’s little sister shows up at The Hunt ready to play, and I lose control.
I tell myself it’s just a taste.
Except, with her, I should’ve known a single taste wouldn’t be enough.
And then the good girl I’ve known most of my life drops to her knees.
For me.
From that moment on, I knew she would only ever be one thing.
Mine.
Juliet
Presenting my brother’s best friend with a pros/cons list of why he should take my virginity seemed like a good idea at the time.
I thrive on information, data, and lists, and it made sense on paper.
Until he rejected me and walked out of my life.
Now, eight years later, my life is beginning to fall apart despite my careful planning.
Tempted with an invite to Ravage Castle, I show up seeking answers to questions I’m not sure I can handle.
Except, a furious Chase finds me talking to another man.
Under his gilded, arched roof.
I soon learn that despite his controlled exterior, Chase seems to have one weakness.
Me.
Prey Tell is a full-length, brother’s best friend/billionaire romance with primal play themes. It is book one in the Ravaged Castle series. All books can be read as standalones.
Warning: This book contains a possessive, jealous antihero, explicit sexual situations, and strong language. There is no cheating, and there is a HEA.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Chase and Juliet. These two have known each other for a very long time. He is her brother’s best friend and he has been around for them for as long as she can remember. When the time comes for her to go to college she has some extra baggage she does not want to take with her and asks him to help her with that. When he tells her that he can’t, she goes off to college and before you know it eight years have passed and she never sees him. She misses him. He wasn’t only her brother’s best friend, but hers too. Now he is engaged to be married and the night of her engagement party, she is really surprised to see him there. And this pulls feelings that she thought she had let go a long time ago, to the surface again. Chase is a man who has worked alongside his brothers to make their family name Ravage not mean what it literally means. All his life people have known what his father did and how he ruined everything and in school he tried so hard to ignore it but it was hard for him until the day that Jackson walks in to school and they become best friends. The kind of best friends that last a lifetime. He finally felt accepted with Jackson’ mom and dad and his little sister. So you can imagine his surprise when his sister came to him and how it hurt him to reject her. But Juliet doesn’t know everything she thinks she knows about Chase. He needs to walk away and that is what he did for eight years. Never not knowing what was going on with her. He is a man with certain tastes and those tastes might have freaked her out. But now she is a grown woman and still a temptation but is getting married. Things should be find now and he can get over her right? Little does he expect the argument from a very angry Juliet and the events of that night to set in motion something that motion that he just knows she is not going to be able to handle. Or can she? You have to read to find that out though and I know you don’t know what that is because I’m trying to not give things away. I can tell you that I loved this book. When I picked it up, I laid it down only when I absolutely had to. I loved these characters so much. Chase is while not perfect, he’s pretty close to it. He loves with his whole heart even though he didn’t really have that in his life when he was young. I loved the relationship he has with Jackson, Juliet’s brother. They are what very best friends should be to each other. I know he struggled with his attraction to Juliet and it makes your heart ache for him. Juliet is a very smart girl that grows into a smart woman except when it comes to her plans for her life. I was a little surprised when she was engaged and when you read this book you will understand why. I loved how she has always had a thing for Chase. I loved her lists. Her pros and cons list. They cracked me up while making all the sense in the world. She is open minded and soaks up information like a sponge. You guys just need this book in your life. It has been a while since I have read a great BDSM book and Prey Tell is certainly on. This is the first book in the Ravaged Castle Series and while it doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, it will leave you wanting to know about the next brother. Chase is a second younger brother so there are four of them in total and I can’t wait to see who we get to read bout next. I think it will be his brother Miles but I’m not exactly sure. Either way I am excited to be getting more of the Ravage brothers.
