This is a dark romance. You really need to check the warnings in the beginning of this book. This book will contain triggers for some readers. This is a enemies to lovers, bully romance.
This is the story of Reign and Riley. I have to say that when I picked this book up I did not lay it down. These two do not have a hearts and flowers romance. But they do have one that really pulled at my heart strings a lot. These two have been friends since childhood. But things happen and the next thing they know, they are rivals and really couldn’t stand each other. I loved Riley. That girl gave as good as she got always. I loved that she just didn’t take what Reign was dishing out. Reign is, gosh how do I describe Reign? He knew what he wanted and he wasn’t afraid to go after. Though sometimes he is going to make you want to throw your Kindle up against the wall. However, I do have to give him kudos for knowing what he wants and going for it. For how possessive he was of her. Don’t mess with Riley is all I know to tell you. I loved that we got to go through the ups and downs with them and just like all teens you get to see them try to figure out their future. I loved how these characters were written. You do not want to miss this book.
