This is the fourth book in the Scorned Fate Series. There are three books in front of this one that I have loved reading and think you need to read those. But you could probably follow this story not having read those books. This is the story of Bianca and Alessandro. She has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember. He is nine years her senior, but that crush has been with her her entire life it feels like. She is the youngest child in her family and she has never wanted for anything. She is a girl who has been on the search for what she wants and trying to discover who she is outside her family. I loved that we got to see a different side of her in this book. The girl who is really brave and she is about to do the one things she never wanted to do in the first place. Be a Mafia wife. After all she is getting the man of her dreams but I think she really would have done it any other way than this. Life is not how she pictured it to be at all. Allesandro has also been hanging back but always protecting Bianaca. But he never wanted to be really near her let alone marry her. But he is more than determined to protect and save her and this is the only way that that is possible. It was never his dream to be a made man and that is exactly what this marriage will be for him. I have to say that these two are amazing together and so much more than you ever thought they would be. I loved watching them come together as a couple. This book really pulls at your heart strings and there is no way out won’t close this book with a sigh and know you read an epic love story.
