I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the first book in The Semyonov Bratva Series. This is the story of Brecken and Shahsa. If you have read the Carter Brothers Series then you know that Maven discovered that when Auden was kidnapped as a childhood and reunited with her birth family? The Semyonov’s and we are getting their stories. We meet Shasha in this first book. This guy is about larger than life and he really knows how to take charge. But when it comes to his family he has a huge soft spot that no one ever sees. When he meets Brecken he knows that he is in trouble. She is a school teacher and is coming out a relationship where her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friends. To make matters worse someone caught it all on a video. She might be attracted to Shahsa but she thinks that a man like him would never notice a girl like her. I loved reading their story. It will have you swooning at times. There is a little of everything Chemistry, passion, and danger. I love these two together and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
