This is the story of Lucas and Evie. I have to say that this is the first time I am reading a book by this author and I loved every second of it. Lucas has some serious trauma in his life. Thanks to his father who is an absolutely horrible human being or maybe I should say monster. He has a mess on his hands and has really built his life on control on solitude. But the man does have a little of a nerdy side to him and I loved that side of him. Evie is the youngest member of Titan Security. She is strong and fierce and utterly brilliant. I loved her and getting to know her. Lucas has a connection to the Titan group though Evie’s brother in law and she knows him by the name of Luke Delaney. They see each other at a board game convention and the sparks are immediately flying all over the place. Front he moment he sees her he knows that he has met his person and no one else is getting her. However he is hiding some huge secrets from her. I have to stop telling you about this story. You need to discover what happens in this book for yourself. I really loved these characters and how this book kept me on my toes. It is one that you really need to read.
