I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Saint Trilogy. You have to read Cruel Saint first or you are going to be so lost. I for one, couldn’t wait to be back with Imogene and Gideon. I don’t even know how to review this book and not give something away. This book is such a roller coaster ride. Imogene is going to discover some jaw dropping things in this book. Her feelings for Gideon are complicated at best due to the fact that he reminds her so much of Samuel. This also really messes with her mental health at times. Gideon is out for revenge. His plans are laid out to perfection. However, he never saw Imogene coming. He wants a future with her and that conflicts so much with he plans he has. There are so many twists and turns in this book that at times it had me reeling. I loved every single second of this book. And WOW what a way to be left hanging. I am loving this series so much. You do not want to miss it.
